StellarPilots.com ("StellarPilots," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Stellar Nomad, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, based in the United States. These terms apply to all users of the StellarPilots website and services (the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

StellarPilots is an independent pilot career preparation service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any airline, air carrier, flight school, Part 121/135 operator, or any of their parent, subsidiary, or affiliated companies. Any airline names, logos, or references used on this Service are used solely for identification and educational purposes (e.g., to describe the interview process for a specific carrier) and remain the property of their respective owners.

Nothing on this Service should be interpreted as an offer of employment, a guarantee of employment, or an official statement from any airline regarding its hiring process, interview format, or selection criteria. Interview questions, formats, and preparation content are based on publicly available information, user-submitted reports, and general industry practice, and may not reflect an airline's current or actual process.

StellarPilots provides AI-assisted mock interview practice and related career-preparation tools for pilots and prospective pilots. The Service uses artificial intelligence to simulate interview scenarios and provide feedback. AI-generated feedback is a preparation aid, not professional career counseling, and is not a substitute for guidance from an airline's official recruiting materials, a career counselor, or a mentor pilot with direct experience at your target carrier.

We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in a job offer, interview invitation, or improved interview performance.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. This includes information you provide when creating an account, interview responses and transcripts you generate through the Service, and any resume, logbook, or career-history data you upload.

We may use service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, AI model providers, payment processors, analytics tools) to operate the Service. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and data-use restrictions -- this is not a "sale" of data. See more detail in the Privacy Policy (Section 9).

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state) to create an account.

You agree not to: (a) use the Service to violate any law; (b) misrepresent your identity or credentials; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI models or datasets; (d) upload content you don't have the right to share; or (e) use the Service to harass, defame, or impersonate any person or organization, including any airline.

The Service, including its software, design, and original content (excluding user-submitted content and third-party trademarks referenced under Section 2), is owned by Stellar Nomad, LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., your resume or interview responses), and grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of operating the Service, and, subject to Section 9, to train, fine-tune, or improve our AI models using de-identified versions of your content.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI-GENERATED FEEDBACK MAY BE INACCURATE OR INCOMPLETE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STELLAR NOMAD, LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

This section is our Privacy Policy and governs how we handle your information.

Information we collect:

• Account information -- name, email address, and any profile details you provide.
• Content you submit -- interview responses, resumes, logbook data, or other career-history material you upload or type into the Service.
• Voice input -- You may record spoken answers using your device microphone. Recordings are sent to our servers and to a third-party speech-to-text provider solely to produce a text transcript. Audio may be processed in memory on our servers during transcription but is not written to durable storage by us, and we do not retain the recording after your transcript is generated. Only the transcript text you choose to save is retained, like typed answers. We do not use voice for biometric identification or speaker verification.
• Usage data -- pages visited, features used, and general interaction data, collected automatically.
• Payment information -- if you purchase a paid plan, payment is processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers ourselves.

How we use it: to operate and improve the Service, generate AI interview feedback, maintain your account, communicate with you about the Service, and comply with legal obligations. With your consent as described below, we may also use de-identified content you submit (resumes, interview responses, transcripts, and similar career-history material) to train, fine-tune, or improve our AI models, including models used for other users. Before any such use, we remove information that directly identifies you, such as your name and contact details. We do not currently use content for this purpose. If we begin doing so, we will provide notice and, where required by applicable law, obtain your consent before using previously-submitted content in this way. You may opt out of this use by contacting us at admin@stellarpilots.com.

How we share it: We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting, AI model providers, payment processors, email/analytics tools), under contractual confidentiality and data-use restrictions;
• Parties you direct us to share it with;
• Authorities, if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.

Data retention: We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

Your rights: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at admin@stellarpilots.com. If you are a resident of a state with a comprehensive privacy law (e.g., California, Colorado, Virginia), you may have additional statutory rights, including the right to opt out of certain data processing; contact us at admin@stellarpilots.com to exercise those rights.

Cookies: We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect Service functionality.

Children: The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings while logged in, or by contacting us at admin@stellarpilots.com.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date above.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming.
